Metallic Epoxy Flooring in Paradise Valley, AZ
- One-of-a-kind finish
- Deep gloss
- UV-stable clear
Metallic epoxy is the showpiece finish. Pearlescent pigment is mixed into the resin, poured and then worked by hand so the light catches swirls, veins and depth that look like polished stone or liquid metal. No two floors come out the same.
It's a favorite for collector-car galleries, game rooms, bars and showrooms where the floor is part of the design.

What you get
How the effect is made.
Under the effect is a normal coating system: a ground and primed slab, then a solid base color that sets the tone of the floor. The metallic coat goes over it while the base is ready to accept it, and the installer moves the pigment with rollers, trowels, sprayers and sometimes air to build the pattern.
Because the look depends on how the resin flows and settles, metallic work takes more planning than other finishes. We agree on colors and a general pattern direction with you first, and make a sample board on request.

Why choose it
Why people choose metallic.
It's unique
The pattern is made by hand on your floor, so nobody else has the same one.
It has depth
Pearl pigment and a thick clear make the floor look deeper than it is.
It's seamless
One continuous surface, with no grout lines or joints to collect dirt.
It pairs with design
Colors can tie into cabinetry, lighting, art and car paint.

Options
Directing the look.
We'll talk through both at the visit and bring samples so you can see them in your own light.
Calm and marbled
Soft, broad movement in silvers, pewter, champagne or graphite. It reads as stone and suits offices, wine rooms and living areas.
Bold and fluid
High-contrast swirls and lacing with two or three pigments. It's the choice for car galleries and bars where the floor should be noticed.
Paradise Valley notes
Sun, glare and car galleries.
Epoxy can amber in strong UV, and many Paradise Valley garages and game rooms have large glass doors or windows. We finish metallic floors with a UV-stable clear, and we'll tell you honestly if a room gets so much direct sun that a different finish would last better. In display garages we also look at overhead lighting, since gloss shows reflections clearly.

Install day
How a metallic floor is installed.
Prep is the same as any system: grind, repair, prime. The base color goes down and cures. Then the metallic coat is mixed in batches, poured and worked across the room in one continuous session so there are no lap lines.
After it cures, a clear topcoat sets the final gloss. Metallic floors usually take two to three days of work, plus cure time before furniture or cars.
Pricing
What drives the cost of metallic.
Metallic costs more than flake or solid color because of the material, the hand work and the clear coat. These are the main factors.
- Floor flatnessDips and ridges show through gloss, so uneven slabs need more grinding or self-leveler.
- Number of colorsMulti-pigment designs take more product and more time.
- Room sizeLarge rooms need a bigger crew to keep the pour continuous.
- Clear coatThicker or multiple clears add material and another day.
Afterward
Living with a gloss floor.
High gloss shows dust more than flake does, so a microfiber dust mop is your friend. Mop with a neutral cleaner, use felt pads under furniture and keep walk-off mats at exterior doors to catch grit.

Questions
Metallic Epoxy Flooring: quick answers.
Anything else on your mind? Add it to your request and we will answer when we call.
Send your questionCan I see a sample first?
Yes. We can make a sample board in your colors. It shows the color and depth, though the pattern on your floor will differ.
Is metallic slippery?
A smooth gloss can be slick when wet. We can add fine grit to the clear in areas near doors or water.
Will it scratch?
Any gloss floor can show fine scratches from grit. A hard clear coat, walk-off mats and regular dust-mopping keep it looking good.
Can it go in a sunny garage?
With a UV-stable clear it can, but rooms that get hours of direct sun may suit flake or polyaspartic color better. We'll give you a straight answer at the visit.
Can you put a logo in it?
Simple inlays and borders are possible. Detailed artwork is usually better done as a separate graphic under the clear.
How long does it take to cure?
Foot traffic is usually fine after a day or two, with longer before furniture and vehicles. Your cure sheet gives the dates.
